Our people
We have a fluid team set up which means that over time, most people will work together on client projects. We have the following five distinct roles:
Account Directors
They have overall responsibility for the delivery of projects and making sure clients are very happy with the work we do. Account directors ensure that the right people, in the right numbers, are assigned to a project. Read a profile of one of our Account Directors.
Category Specialists
Our sourcing experts, who work across clients and projects advising, presenting and delivering on their specific area of experience. They work independently to build areas of expertise and knowledge bases.
Engagement Managers
They are responsible for developing solutions for clients using their experience, procurement knowledge and sound commercial judgement. The role is both internal business and supplier facing and demands a candidate with strong purchasing experience across a broad number of indirect categories of spend. The engagement manager may also have some responsibility for managing purchasing analysts and advisors. Read a profile of one of our Engagement Managers.
Procurement Advisors
This role is similar to that of engagement managers, but is suitable for a range of people, from anyone taking on their first procurement job to those with experience across a range of indirect categories. Procurement advisors are responsible for delivering client solutions using experience, procurement knowledge, technology and sound commercial judgement. Their role is predominantly internal business and supplier facing, although client interaction is also a major part of the role. This role is for anyone entering their first procurement role from graduate level to those with sound commercial awareness and strong experience in procurement across a range of indirect categories of spend.
Business / Data analysts
They analyse clients’ data, for example Accounts Payable data, manipulating data, reporting, writing process documentation and conducting system testing.
They work on multiple accounts for established clients, ensuring a quality service is delivered at all times. The data analyst works closely with the IT team, engagement managers and the procurement team.
